Mike Breedlove is an Accredited Estate Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, Chartered Life Underwriter, and a nationally-recognized Financial Educator, Author, Speaker, and Wealth Planner.  Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Since 1966, through a unique process, Mike has shown active and retired women and men, successful business owners, executives, and professionals how to protect, preserve and pass on their hard-earned wealth.

With the true heart of a teacher, Mike has shared his five decades of knowledge and experience in a variety of forums whether as an estate planning speaker at Texas A&M University or speaking to attorneys, CPAs, financial professionals, or teaching high school students the value of saving early for their future. He also has taught public seminars on the subject of retirement and estate planning. Mike is passionate about helping others and is committed to his own continuing education and that of his team.

In addition, his passion to give back is evident as he served on the local school board for 9 years, is on the board of Lighthouse for Christ Mission, an eye surgery center and Bible school in Mombasa, Kenya and as a volunteer in the Kairos prison ministry for over 25 years. Mike and his wife love to spend time with their family and are wildlife enthusiasts who enjoy traveling to exotic locations.

Ben Dean joined Swords Wealth Management (SWM) in 2014 from a sister firm who practices the same values-based financial planning and asset allocation methodology that has served SWM clients so well over the years.  Ben’s asset allocation, risk management, and client service dedication are the result of his years spent supervising and coaching advisors in the financial planning process.  Ben has provided financial stewardship to corporations, non-profit organizations and affluent individuals across America.

Ben started his career in the securities industry over thirty years ago.  For over twenty of those years he has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).  He most recently served as President of Onyx Wealth Advisors in Dallas.  There he was responsible for a field of 35 Financial Advisors and personally drafted the asset allocation plans for those Advisors.  Ben also served as the Investment Officer for Southwest Securities’ Investment Management Division in their downtown Dallas office.

Ben graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree concentrated in finance.  He is married to his wife, Dina.  They have two teen aged daughters, Calla and Lily. Beth May is a client service assistant with Swords Wealth Management, LLC [“SWM”]. She provides administrative support to SWM’s advisors in Tyler and Lindale, TX. In this role, she is responsible for many facets of the firm’s day-to-day activities, including scheduling appointments, working with clients and assisting with client support assignments. She is the “PAPERWORK BOSS”.

Prior to joining SWM, Beth worked as an administrative assistant for the Northeast Area of the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Earlier in her career she worked in the offices of Hunt Oil Company in Dallas, TX and was a member of Toastmasters International.

Beth studied at the University of Texas in Arlington until the arrival of her two children. She has four grandchildren, Ryker, Rowyn, Estilyn and Esme. She enjoys crochet and playing with her grandchildren, as well as hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding with her husband Preston.
